Membership Information

Welcome to the Chapter's membership information webpage.  The Chapter and it's members have been active throughout the years in various areas of importance to the membership, including but not limited to, involvement in the code development process, updating and creating new plan review checklists, uniform interpretation policies, information bulletins, supporting the Chapter’s various committees (Fire-Life Safety, Disabled Access, Structural, Administration, Inspection, etc.), focusing on several areas of membership needs, and so much more.

To support those activities, the Chapter relies on current members to renew their annual membership or interested individual who want to become involve to register and become a dues paying member. Dues paying members will have access to many of the following, including but not limited to:

1.  Plan review checklists in editable WORD document.

2.  Information bulletins in editable WORD document.

3.  Reduced rates to future trainings/seminars or social activities/events sponsored by the Chapter.

4.  Email distribution list to receive news and information on Chapter activities as well as code related issues or topics.

5.  Job posting on the Chapter's website at no cost.

6.  Ability to view or post questions and comments on the Chapter's Code Forum webpage.

Membership dues will enable the Chapter to sponsor various code development activities, improve and update the Chapter’s website, allow the Chapter to put together training/seminar at lower rates or free whenever possible, host social events or activities (i.e., annual banquet), and much more.

In 2009, the Board of Directors adopted a new fee structure to improve greater access to membership for jurisdictions with many staff.  The “Small Governmental” and “Large Governmental” group rate allows jurisdictions or associates to sign up to 10 or over 10 staff members at a significantly lower rate.  As we all face the challenge of declining construction activities, the Board of Directors hopes that these lower group rates will be a cost saving for jurisdictions or associates who want to have as much staff as possible gain from the benefits of membership.

As always, we encourage your participation in the Chapter’s event or activities, including monthly chapter meetings, committee meetings and/or training.  We value your membership and thank you for your support and active participation throughout the year. The Board of Directors wishes to thank you for your renewal and your continued support.
