HVAC Crew Leader
City of Santa Monica

Through the hard work, support and dedication of our members, the ICC Los Angeles Basin Chapter is proud to support and encourage the ongoing activities of our technical and administrative committees. These committees further the goal of the Chapter by providing a forum for members to discuss, review and address issues or topics relevant to our profession.

It's never too late for you or your staff to start participating!!!

If you or your staff is interested in participating with any of the committees listed herein, please contact the Chairperson or the Board Liaison for that committee. The committees welcome your support and active involvement. Remember, a committee is effective when members participate in the process. An issue you may have in your City may very well be the same issue someone else is facing in another City. Become a member of a committee and together we may be able to address or clarify the issues as a group and not as individuals.

The following committees and their respective area of interest are described below:

Administration Committee

The administration committee focuses on issues relevant to the daily operation and code administration of a building and safety organization. Topics discussed may include, but not limited to, budget and financing, record management, staffing requirements, permitting process, fees, certifications, education and training, etc. The committee may also plan activities and social events in an effort to promote the status of the Chapter as well as to improve the social interaction and networking among the Chapter’s membership. Unless noted otherwise by the committee chairperson, the committee typically meets the 2nd Tuesday in the City of Downey’s Building and Safety office from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
